HONOLULU, HI, October 26, 2026, Hawaiʻi Stage Event Production Company today announced that Caley Shimada has joined the company as Senior Director, Client Experience & Technical Services.
In this role, Shimada leads Hawaiʻi Stage’s Hotel Services Division and serves as the company’s dedicated point of contact for its hotel and resort partners across the islands, overseeing client relationships, proposals, and the technical delivery behind every event.
“Caley’s spent two decades building relationships with the same hotels and resorts we work with every week. He knows this business from both sides, the technical side and the client side, which is rare to find in one person. That’s exactly what our partners need as we grow,” said Neldon Mamuad, Division President at Hawaiʻi Stage.
Shimada brings more than two decades of experience in Waikiki hospitality and event production. He built his career in audiovisual and operations leadership with Presentation Services, now Encore, at properties including Hilton Hawaiian Village, the Sheraton Waikiki, the Royal Hawaiian, the Westin Moana Surfrider, and the Princess Kaiulani. Most recently, he led catering and conference services at the Marriott Waikiki Complex and the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach Hotel, managing events from first inquiry through show day.
