Why TOMCAT

Strength, Scale,
and Speed.

TOMCAT modular roofs are engineered to simplify modern outdoor production without giving up strength, scalability, or professional performance. Precision engineering, clean modern lines, and a system that adapts to the show instead of the other way around.

🏗️

Engineered Structure

Not a tent and not a canopy. A load-rated roof system designed to carry production weight overhead, with documented engineering behind every configuration.

Fast Deployment

Modular components and a repeatable build sequence get the roof up in a working day, not a lost week. Faster in means less site rental and less crew time.

🔧

Fully Adaptable

Three footprints, adjustable trim height, and configurable wings. The same system scales from a corporate lawn stage to a festival main stage.

🎚️

Rigging Capacity

Hang line array, lighting, and LED from the structure itself. Ground support and PA wing options keep the deck clear and the sightlines clean.

🌦️

Weather Ready

Roof, scrim, and wind management planned together so your show has a real answer when a trade wind squall rolls through mid-afternoon.

🏝️

Local Crew, Local Rules

Hawaiʻi based inventory and crew. We plan around permits, inter-island freight, and site access from the first conversation, not the week of the show.

Three Sizes

Pick the Footprint.
We Build the Rest.

Every roof is quoted as a complete system with structure, rigging, ballast or anchoring, and crew. Dimensions below are the roof footprint in feet.

65 × 45
Feet · Large
Main Stage

Our largest footprint. Built for headline production where the roof has to carry a full audio, lighting, and video package.

  • Concerts and festivals
  • Multi-act productions
  • Large public events
  • Line array and LED overhead
45 × 45
Feet · Mid
Production Stage

A square, balanced footprint that covers most full production events without the freight and footprint of the large system.

  • Corporate general sessions
  • Community and cultural events
  • Touring support acts
  • Resort and hotel activations
25 × 35
Feet · Compact
Compact Stage

Smaller sites, tighter budgets, and shorter build windows. Still a fully engineered roof, sized for venues that cannot take a large structure.

  • Smaller venues and lawns
  • Houses of worship
  • Corporate and private events
  • Sites with limited access
On Site

Roof Up, Rig Hung,
Ready for Doors.

Lighting, video, and audio flown from the structure itself, built by our crew on an open field. This is what the system looks like the afternoon before a show.

Planning in Hawaiʻi

Island Logistics,
Handled.

A roof system is the piece of the show most affected by where you are building it. Here is what we account for on every project.

Permits and Approvals

Structures of this size often need permits, engineering review, or venue sign-off. We flag what your site requires early so it does not become a week-of problem.

Inter-Island Freight

Neighbor island builds run on barge schedules. We back the freight timeline out from your event date and build the buffer into the plan.

Wind and Weather

Trades, salt air, and afternoon squalls are normal here. Every build gets a wind action plan with clear thresholds and who makes the call.

Crew and Access

Venue labor rules, beach and park access, ground protection, and crane or forklift staging all get sorted before load-in day.

The Process

Quote to Strike.

Four steps. You tell us about the show, we handle the structure.

01

Tell Us About the Show

Date, site, audience size, and what is going overhead. Audio, lighting, and video weight drive the roof selection more than anything else.

02

Site and Structure Review

We review ground conditions, access, and clearances, then recommend the footprint, trim height, and anchoring approach for your site.

03

Engineering and Permits

Stamped drawings and load calculations go to your permitting authority or venue. We stay in that conversation until it is approved.

04

Build, Show, Strike

Our crew builds the structure, rigs your production, stands by through the show, and strikes it clean when you are done.

Where These Go

From One Night
to Permanent.

The same system covers a single festival weekend or a venue that needs a roof standing year round.

🎸

Concerts & Festivals

Main stage roofs with the rigging capacity for line array, moving light rigs, and LED walls. Built for multi-act days and fast changeovers.

🏢

Corporate Events

Clean, modern structures for outdoor general sessions, product launches, and brand activations where the look matters as much as the coverage.

Houses of Worship

Outdoor services, conferences, and community gatherings that need a covered, load-rated platform for sound and video.

🚚

Touring Productions

Tour-ready structures for routed shows landing in Hawaiʻi, built to work with your production rider and advance.

🏛️

Permanent Installations

Long-term venue infrastructure for amphitheaters, resorts, and cultural venues that program outdoors all year.

📺

Ground Support

Freestanding ground support towers for LED walls, banners, and video where a full roof is more structure than the show needs.
