Hawaiʻi Stage Serves as Lead Production Partner for Aloha in Action Benefit Concert, Helping Raise Nearly $1 Million for Flood-Impacted Families

Production company donated all equipment and led full technical execution so every dollar raised could go to the Kākoʻo Mai Fund

HONOLULU, HI | Apr. 26, 2026 | Hawaiʻi Stage Event Production Company served as the lead production partner for the Aloha in Action Benefit Concert, which raised nearly $1 million for families impacted by the recent floods.

Led by The Hawaiian Council, Hawaiʻi Stage's parent organization, the concert was held April 23 at Ko Olina's Great Lawn. More than 7,000 people attended the family-friendly, alcohol-free evening of music, healing, and community support. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Kākoʻo Mai Fund to support disaster relief efforts.

Hawaiʻi Stage donated all production equipment and led the full technical execution of the event. That commitment allowed all proceeds to go straight to the families who need them most.

"We didn't do this for recognition," said Neldon Mamuad, Division President of Hawaiʻi Stage. "When families lose everything, you show up with what you have, and what we have is a stage, a crew, and a community that doesn't hesitate. Every dollar that came in that night went to the people who need it."

Hawaiʻi Stage extends its thanks to the crew and technical volunteers whose skill, dedication, and long hours made the night possible. The company also recognized fellow production companies OnStage Hawaii, Rhema Audio, and Hawaii Events Unlimited, along with the members of IATSE Local 665, for stepping up with talent and support when it mattered most.

This is the power of Hawaiʻi standing together: one stage, one community, showing up for each other.
